Been lurking around this site for several years, have a whs 2011 machine that has been running well for 4 months ( replacement for aging whs v1 ASUS TSMini).
My question is this:
Can I replace the 320Gb seagate hdd that is my current OS drive with a 180Gb OCZ SSD using a fresh install of the OS and then restoring a server backup of the old drive to restore my system?
I have 3 WD red 1Tb drives for data storage, a 1Tb Toshiba usb 3.0 external for server backup in addition to the OS drive. I also have a few program files stored on the D: partition on the OS drive. I am using Drive Bender on the 3 WD red's.
