Long time since I have been here, I ran WHSv1 for a number of years and then WHS 2011 (Still currently running). I have now decided to start trialling Server 2012 R2 Essentials to eventually replace my WHS 2011 box.
The installation went very smoothly but I have had numerous issues with Access Anywhere and Remote desktop.
If I log into Remote Web Access externally, RDP times out after 60 seconds. If I do the same but from within the network I get told that the login was incorrect.
I used the XXXXX.remotewebaccess.com domain provided my MS.
Anyone else have similar issues? Tonight I'm going to do a clean install and see if it was just a blip. Should all of this just work out of the box, or is there additional configuration I have missed. The user has access, I have also tried the network admin and that does the same.
Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.
