I have Windows Server 2012 Essentials, and Windows Update has been trying to install KB2845533 without success for months. It gives a Code 80244FFF error at the end. I've read a few articles, but I've not found anything on this. I also tried un-installing all non-security updates back through the last rollup (one at a time with reboots as prompted). I then let Windows Update attempt to install everything that I was missing, including KB2845533. It failed again. I'm not seeing any errors in Event Viewer. Windows Update does not want to go past this update. I also tried using DISM and a Clean Boot with no sucess. I'm looking for suggestions on how to proceed. I really don't want to have to do a full reinstall of the OS.
