I've had a problem with the WHS connector not seeing the server and a issue with the backup database which is possibly corrupted so I'm looking to re-install/recover using the recovery disc.
Its been an age since I've done this and I can't remember the process, I'm looking to ensure that the data on my shares is unaffected. I've also an issue with the software folder where the connector download folder was corrupted so when my laptop tries to pull the connector software off the server this fails.
So,
1. Which option ensures my data is safe?
2. Does any option recover the software folder?
