My WHS died [RIP]. So I rebuilt with new hardware. Having reached the point where I needed to re-install [I had removed the connector software from each PC prior to this] the connector software on all of my PC's [4 of them] the first went with no problem. The next gave me the following message "Cannot connect the computer to the server because either another software installation is in progress or, the computer has a restart pending". I did a restart which made no difference. I cannot think of any "other software installation that is in progress". If I had to guess it looks like the connector uninstall didn't complete correctly. Now I am stuck since I cannot re-install the connector software and don't know how to fix things.
