I have Lights Out Server installed on a server PC running Windows 8.1 on my home network and Lights Out client installed on two other home group PCs (laptops) alsp running Windows 8.1.
I have enabled and configured Wake on Lan/Wan, and everything works great.
I am able to wake up the server on Wan from the context menu of the client PCs, but the "Server Online" check mark on the icon only apears, when I am connected to my home network.
Away from home or on mobile broadband, the status always reads "Server is hibernated or shut down" even though I have just woken it up, and I can RDC into it to confirm it is online.
This might be intentional, but is there any way to be able to monitor the status of my server when I am not at home? Perhaps by forwarding a port on my router or something?
Any help would be appreciated and thanks none the less for this great piece of software.
