My house had grande for internet and never had an issue with the remote access. All of my devices were set up with static IPs.
We move to a temporary home during remodeling and now have time warner.
With grande I used 192.168.1.x and when I looked at my whs server remote console, it would say that my IP for the server was 66.x.x.x. Now with TW when I set up the server (different cable modem, same router) I see the server now showing 192.168.0.1 as the IP address in the console (the static IP stayed the same at 192.168.1.100).
I know that 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.1.100 should not be able to see each other.
Trying to figure this all out and don't want to change all my static IPs unless I have to (for a lot of complicated reasons).
Any ideas on what is happening here and how to fix it?
