Removing Drive Unexpected Shutdown

Hey Guys,

I'm back on this after a year, boy does time fly.  So after a dead UPS,  melted batteries, kids, life, and everything else that gets in the way I got the WHS back up and running.

I even have two more 2TB segate drives to replace the WD EARS drives. (See previous post about EARS Drive  Here)  I never got around to moving the jumper I just decided to replace the drives.

Question?  I selected one of the 2TB WD20EARS to be removed from the pool after adding on of the Segate STBV2000100 (2TB external, great price and I'm stealing the drive out of the enclosure)

Now it was chugging along removing the drive at about 8:00PM the last time I checked it.  Now in the morning I find the computer with an amber colored power light and it is unresponsive.  Lovely!  So I do a hard power reset and it comes back up checking the event log it appears that it stopped working at 12:00 PM.  The 2tb WD20EARS is showing that it is removed from the pool, but I'm concerend about my data. Is there any log file I can check to see if the drive removal finished before the sytem crashed?

I also have folder duplication enabled, so if I have a corrupted file how does it know which one is the good copy?
