Hey everyone I finally got around to updating the BIOS on my server and it still didn't fix my USB 3.0 problems I enabled EHCI hand-off and another BIOS setting that had to do with the host controller but I still had the one enclosure getting lost. I then restarted the KeepAliveHD program and so far no lost disk in event viewer or any missing disk messages from StableBit DrivePool (SBDP for future references). Since updating the BIOS (went over great with Asus EZ Flash II I've seen people bad mouthing it in forums but I have had nothing but success when using it) I have been able to enable virtulization and install the Hyper-V role now my server is a desktop that I have installed WSE2012R2 on so it only has one NIC I have a few extra usb 2.0 to ethernet adapters that I could start of using but would like to use a pcie quad port NIC the only thing is there were a few different kinds and I didn't know the difference between MT PT and I340 until I did a search it seems that pci-e is associated with PT pci-x is associated with MT and if I was insane and wanted to spend 350$ I can get a i340 which starts assembling the packets from the card lessening the burden on the CPU. My server has a 4th gen i7 in it and so far I haven't seen anything challenge the CPU that I have done on this server but running a few VM's could change that. Would like to be able to afford this feature but can't justify the expense does anyone have any suggestions for a quality card that isn't priced to high
