On my WHS2011 installation I have recently had some problems. I can Remote Desktop into the server and access the dashboard that way, but when I attempt to access the dashboard on a client computer I get a default 'computer unavailable' type MSTSC error with a title of 'RemoteApp Disconnected'. When trying to use the Web Access site to RDP to a computer, I get a different error but still with the 'RemoteApp Disconnected' title.
I have experienced these errors after attempting, and failing, to configure a VPN. I have uninstalled the related role, but to no avail. I had also tried to install the TS Gateway role, and failed in setting that one up, but the dashboard problem existed before that. I noticed that the server had installed an update regarding 'Remote Desktop Services 8, or something similar, and was wondering if this could have caused the problems I am having.
