Hello,
I'm trying to copy data from my WHS to a new Synology NAS (DS214). When using a MacBook Pro to copy from the WHS to the DS214, I get the following error:
The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “IMGP2330.JPG” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)
When I use a Win7 laptop to copy the same data, I get the following error:
An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. Error 0x8007048F: The device is not connected.
Now clearly the device is connected as I can copy data from both laptops to the NAS, just not from the WHS.
