Using 8.1 As Vm Base

Hi all

I was thinking of using Windows 8.1 Pro as a Virtual Machine server.  With Technet subscriptions expiring soon, this could be a good alternatve.

The VM's I would create

1) WHS 2011 - To handle backups, data sharing etc

2) Window 7 with share for Music, Movies, etc and PLEX server

3) Server 2012 to play with

4) 2 unbuntu servers for web development

Hardware

Supermicro MB with XEON Ivybridge, 32gRAM, lots of disk space, 4 x Gb lan cards

I was using Server 2012R2 as a base but OS harddrive died and need to rebuild
