Has anyone seen this type of behavior before or is this typical? I am running 2012 with an SSD for my C: drive and a storage pool with parity for my D: drive with 3 3TB hard drives. When I copy a 50GB folder from the D: drive to C: drive it copies at a steady rate of around 250MB/s. However, when I turn around and copy from the C: drive to the D: drive, the rate is very erratic. It fluctuates between 300MB/s and often drops down to 0 and stay there for several seconds. You can see an example in the picture here. Does anyone know what might be interfering with the writes? The folder I'm copying contains a bunch of large ISO files so it's not being slowed down by a bunch of tiny files.
Thanks,
Brian
