I'm looking for an expansion board for my WHS. I will be putting it into an HP ProLiant ML110 G7 server running WHS 2011. All four expansion slots are available.
4 slots:
• Slot 1: PCIe Gen2, x16 (x16 connector), full height and full length
• Slot 2: PCIe Gen2, x4 (x8 connector), full height and full length
• Slot 3: PCIe Gen2, x4 (x8 connector), full height and full length
• Slot 4: PCIe Gen2, x4 (x1 connector), full height and full length
Should I look for an eSATA card, a USB 3 card, or is their a combination card you would recommend?
I will be using the expansion board to connect an external HDD enclosure. The enclosure has both eSATA and USB 3 interfaces. I will need two ports or a combination of both.
