Not quite sure where to post this query. Logging on to my dashboard this morning I was greeted with the rather empty view that you can see in the attachment. Apparently a whole set of services (user accounts, client backups, server backups, add-ins etc) are not running, and the relevant sections of the dashboard are no longer there.
I can remote in to the server ok, and see the shares on the network. I can even stream media files normally. However, the dashboard remains stubbornly empty of tabs!!
Related or not, I have no idea, but the install is on an old HP X510, and the HP lights controller program seems to got corrupted as well - lights are back their default state. The lights control program can also no longer be uninstalled or installed - it generates error 1001 (apparently it can't seem to find the HpMsslO.dll file, although it's clearly in the relevant folder on the server.
All rather puzzling! Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what on earth might have happened and, more inportantly, how I might go about fixing it!
Please note that although I am very willing to get stuck into any suggestions that anyone can provide, I am not really a super techie, and so some additional instructions may be required!
Thanks!
