Win7X64 V Whs2011 Backup

I have a client computer (win7 x64 pro) that wont install WHS 2011 connector software.

As a work around, I am now using Win7's native back up program to a Drive Pool Folder on my WHS 2011 server. 

Does the Win7 back up store files as efficiently as the WHS2011 server?  Should I be researching alternative back up methods?
