Over the weekend I had chaos with my windows home server, caused in the end by an overheating motherboard.
But part of the problem was that it froze during a re-build, the formating
as such I could not repair, and so had to install on a fresh hard drive, and all seems to be working well.
I am now currnetly trying to retireve the data from the old data drives, using bulk copying methods within explorer. However when I try moving soem directories esp my music directry wit soem 600 ripped Cds I get invalid file handle error messages.
It will take months to copy each file/directory seperatly, is there a tool I can use toease the process?
yours hopefully
