I updated my server BIOS last night, after all was reset and up and running, I launched the dashboard from my laptop, went to the drive pool page and was told I needed to transfer my license, which I did, and it appeared all was well.
The reason I launched the dashboard was because I had been in windows explorer, and had been deleting some older files and replacing them with current files in my server folder/programs folder. I noticed that moving around the server folders, it was slow, even switching back to a folder in which I had already viewed. Other PC's and my Mybooklive would snap open as usual. I also found that when I tried to open my music, pictures and video folder on the server, I was denied access while on the laptop, yet all other folder would open, be it extremely slow.... I don't believe this has anything to do with drive pool, I believe I had previously been denied access to these folder before from the laptop, and I have no idea why. From any other PC on the network, I can open any folder in the server folder.
As far as how fast the folders accessed, this was all new. Used to snap open like any other network PC. I rebooted the laptop, then went to explore again, the first two folders snapped open, then checked the music folder, was denied, and went back to a previous folder and it was opening slow again.
Any ideas?
