Problems With Whs V1 Os Install

Hi all I was wondering if someone out there could help me with a problem I have

I am installing windows home server v1 on an old computer. The specs are here

Intel p4 processor 2.8Ghz
1 gig DDR ram
1 80 gb pata hard drive
1 1tb Sata hard drive
1 pata dvdrw drive
Ati radeon gfx card

I goto install WHS on it and it gets stuck on 'Installing updates (phase 2 of OS install)

Can any one help with this or has any ideas to what maybe causing this please.
