I built my WHS2011 server 2 years back and used 3 x WD20EARX 2TB drives because (a) they were at a great price point and (
I read about issues using bigger drives so wanted to play safe.
Now I want to add more drives, I see that the price per TB of the 3 & 4TB is slightly better than the 2TB. Will I face any issues by using the bigger drives?
Note that I don't have a physical space issue since I used a big tower with plenty of 3.5" bays and have 3 SATA connectors spare (plus more if I buy a PCI-e card). So the only reason to go for a bigger drive is cost (although it is not a huge saving so if there is extra effort/risk involved then I'll just use 2TB drives).
Also I am using Drivebender but I shouldn't think that matters?
