Complete Noob At Settting Up Media On A Server...

Hi,

I have a MS2012E server.  I have the Digital Media Server set up and it is available on my network clients.  I want to copy my music to the server.

My music is currently stored on a client under the "My Music" folder and is organized by Artist then Album (folder hierarchy).  I am unsure how to copy this to the server.  When I open the Digital Media Server and then the Music folder, I see a bunch of folders: Album Artists, Artists, All Artists, All Music, etc.

I don't understand why these folders are there and how to transfer my music into these folders.

Can anyone provide some background?  I tried searching the web extensively, but had no luck.
