I could use some help pointing me in the right direction.
I am running WHS 2011 on a HP N20l. I am running the following Add-ins
Drive Pool
Stablebit Scanner
Serviio Media Server
Remote Launcher
WHS Office
I have just bought a Synology DS213J NAS. The hard drives in the Synology wake from HDD hibernation approx every 30 minutes. By trying various "configurations" (ethernet cable unplugged, PCs on, PCs off, WHS on, WHS off etc) I have concluded that it only occurs when WHS is running.
I am assuming that WHS is sending something round the network every 30 minutes and its this which wakes the Synology.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here please? I have looked at the WHS event logs but can't see anything at the right times but then I'm not really sure what I'm looking at!!
