After Bitlocker, Issues When Rebooting (No Os?)

Hi there,

earlier today I encrypted my server's OS drive with bitlocker, so that a USB drive is needed for decryption (see here http://forum.wegotserved.com/index.php/topic/28667-bitlocker-no-tpm-startupkey-only/). I am now having issues when restarting, or resuming from hibernation. the exact problem is, that the server apparently doesn't seem to find a hard disk with an OS to boot. I already double-checked my BIOS boot order settings (see screenshots).

If before startup I unplug the USB drive containing the decryption key, I at least am prompted to insert it and reboot (although I then get the previous error, i.e. OS not found).

At least I am able to bypass all that through going the "recovery password" route, so the server is online right now (luckily) but I really would like to avoid having to manually enter 48 digits every time the server reboots.

Are there any suggestions of what might be wrong here? I welcome all your opinions.

Cheers and have a nice weekend! jw

P.S.: If it helps, I'm running the server on a HP N40L.
