Media Center Extender Account Access

I have a windows server 2012 essentials server working as a domain controller and centralized storage device for three client PC's. 1 windows 7 ultimate and 2 windows 8 pro. All three are joined to the domain. the windows 7 machine is a host for 3 media center extenders. 1 x box, 1 ceton echo and 1 Linksys. the problem I'm having is that the extenders have no access to the media folders on the sever while they are being used as media center extenders. I'm fairly certain I could simply access the folders as a DLNA device but that is not what I want.

When you connect a extender to a windows machine running as a media center host it creates a local account for each extender so that extender can access the computer. What I think needs to be done is add access for these account to the sever 2012 essentials machine. I attached a picture of what the accounts look like on the media center host machine but when I tried entering these into the server with the domain names listed it would not create the account. Any ideas?

There is a thread here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserveressentials/thread/5037ba2e-b7ef-4362-bb7a-01e2eee95f15/ but the MVP Ken does not understand the issue it seems since his answers don't address the real issue.
