Last night we had yet another storm blow through and power went out briefly. I had all PC's so that I could make sure any router reconfiguring I had done was ok with WHS2011 and the network that gets backed up. Two computers do not have UPS, but only one of them had lost power (I assume the other was in sleep mode at the time and the power outage wasn't enough to affect it). Anyway, this PC, the P8H77 is the one showing the backup currently in progress on the dashboard, yet I brought up the properties and it shows that backup was successful.
Is it performing another backup that I don't know about?
One other thing. This PC just had several online games installed to it yesterday, all told it was about 40GB worth of expanded and installed files. How can this backup get completed in thirty minutes over my wireless network when it would take thirty minutes just to file transfer a 4 to 5 GB file?
