I have a client PC to a WHS2011 server and it is backed up to WHS2011.
The client PC is being used as a Home Theatre PC (HTPC) running SageTV. I have installed the standalone version of Lights-Out on this HTPC. I am automatically updating the calender on the standalone version of Lights-Out running on the HTPC with the recording schedule so that it works like a PVR (Personal Video Recorder). I have also added a couple of IP devices for Lights-Out Stanalone to monitor. However it doesn't appear to do this despite having turned it on in settings and seeing the the device is marked as active in the list of computers. The status page doesn't show them as being actively monitored.
I am currently running the trial version - does this make a difference?
Will Lights-Out (Standalone) be confused by the fact that also running on the PC is the Lights-Out Client Service for WHS2011?
