I have been having an issue recently which is puzzling me.
I am running an HP Microserver (the 40L)
On this I run WHS 2011 with 5GB of RAM. I have the following drives :
250GB Drive supplied with it partitioned as :
C:60GB
D: 172GB
Hitachi 2TB Drive mounted at E:
Samsung 2TB Drive mounted at F:
Samsung 2TB Drive mounted as follows :
100MB mounted as G: System Reserved (I don't know why and I can't recall how this was setup like this)
Remainder mounted as H:
Samsung 1TB drive mounted as J:
I use Stablebit Drivepool to pool the non system drives as K:
For some reason recently drive E: has been disappearing. The system will stop seeing it until I reboot.
I have run various diagnostics on this and they all give the drive a clean bill of health.
I know some people flashed the bios on their Microservers - I haven't done this.
Any ideas on what is causing this?
