I just installed Windows8.1 preview on this machine, a Surface Pro. The WHS Connector still works but it looks like you can't add locations to your libraries any more. In fact the whole library thing seems to be missing. This leaves me wondering how to 'add' the WHS shared photos folder to Win8. I'm guessing they expect folks will set up a home group, not sure if/how that will work with WHS 2011. I could not seem to find anything on the forum here concerning the subject.
The good points of 8.1: the new touch keyboard is great, you can now categorize your favorites in IE, the new start screen is nice too.
The bad points of 8.1: IE seems less compatible than ever - I find this very disappointing.
