Hi,
My Mediasmart EX475 appears to have failed. It is currently in a loop where it goes through the normal boot sequence, appears to automatically enter recovery mode (status light blinking red/purple), and then eventually reboots. I've tried using the V3 recovery disk (it had been previously upgraded to version 3) on my Windows 7 64 bit desktop and a Windows XP laptop. Neither of them can find the server. I've tried pressing the recovery button on the front of the server at various times, nothing. I ping the server while this is happening and during about a 1 minute period of time, the server can be pinged, but then it reboots. I've researched this for the last couple of days and find nothing that seems to help. Any suggestions?
