Whs 2011 Hyper-V Pass Through On Small Ssd

I've read that WHS 2011 has a minimum partition size at installation that requires a minimum 160 GB drive. I want to install on a VM on a small pass through ssd in client hyper-v on Windows 8 Pro. I've read there's a small script you can run on a USB stick that allows a smaller disk size. Can that be done on a VM on a pass through disk in client hyper-v, and how do you do it? What's the smallest ssd I could get away with? Want it just big enough to run for the OS and swap file and any necessary overhead. All storage will be on a dedicated DrivePool.

Any help appreciated.

Thx,

Cort
