Windows 7 Keeps Losing Access To Whs V1 Shares/remote Desktop Connection

Hi folks,

Got a bit of a puzzler here.  Been running WHS V1 since launch and it always worked fine with my XP desktops and Vista laptop.

Moved up to Windows 7 64 bit last year and at first the wifi on the laptop was a bit spotty (although I think in the end that it was down to the dedicated wifi router I was using as that sorted itself out once I changed ISP last year and started using the wifi from the cable router) so at first the problem I've got didn't register.

Anyway, what happens is, if I reboot/boot from cold (doesn't seem to work if I just log out and log back in again or resume from Sleep or Hibernate) and log in I can access the Shared folders on the WHS fine for about 10-15 minutes but then connection seems to be lost - Windows Explorer tells me:

"Network Error

Windows cannot access \\MyWHS\Share Name\Folder name

Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network.  To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose"

If I click Diagnose I just get told that the computer I'm looking for probably isn't on.

If I try Remote Desktop Connection when I'm having these problems I get:

"Remote Desktop Connection

Remote Desktop can't find the computer 'MyWHS'.  This might mean 'MyWHS' does not belong to the specified network.  Verify the computer name and domain that you are trying to connect to."

The odd thing is that, bearing in mind that I can only see the Shared folders after a reboot/cold boot, my backups seem to work.

So. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to sort this out?
