Sort of a strange one. Today I decided to add a HDD 3TB. I was a previously used drive. But all the data was removed and was reformatted. So it was pretty clean. Installed it in the machine turned it back on all seemingly went ok. I went to the dash board and under users I got a N/A. I have 4 users counting the admin acct. I also had an alert where 4 of the services weren't running. All to do with windows server. Add in, back up, user clients not running. I started these refreshed the alert and it remained with one service that wasn't on the server and the users and applications. The health report and remote launcher couldn't be found. So I restarted the server and logged in with another account name. Same results. Logged that out and back in with the admin account same thing. All user accounts missing even the ones I logged in with. So I removed the HDD rebooted all came back users addins etc and no message about a missing HDD.
Tried another HDD same thing. As soon as I remove the HDD it all works ok. If I put in another HDD used or new it all goes south.
Any ideas
