About To Update From V1 To 2011 + Drivepool...a Couple Questions

Well, let's see if I have this right...

I'm upgrading my WHSv1 to 2011. It currently has 2gb RAM and 3 hdds...2x1.5tb & 1x2tb (on a Gigabyte GA-P35DS3-R).  I'm adding another 4gb RAM for a total of 6gb and putting a 64gb SSD drive in place (came out of my workstation) as my OS drive.

So, I've use imgburn to create an ISO of the install DVD.  And then used the Win7 USB download tool & an 8gb usb key to create my bootable USB key.

Q1: Is there anything I should do on my WHSv1 for my disks in preparation? ie. deleting backups or anything else? Turning off duplication?

So...I'm planning on disconnecting all the current drives and only having the SSD connected for the install. Since it is smaller than 160gb, I understand I will either have to use a cfg.ini or use this Shift+F10 process (http://forum.wegotserved.com/index.php?/topic/25510-installing-to-drive-smaller-than-160gb/).  With the cfg.ini setting of WindowsPartitionSize=MAX, I understand that only the c: (OS) partition will be created, no d:/data...is this correct?

Q2: At this point, should I install DrivePool first and then attach my 3 drives? Or attach the 3 drives first and then install DrivePool?

Following that...I assume I just need to follow instructions like these by Drashna re: moving the folders?

Q3: Technically, I have enough free space on one of my drives, that I could remove a drive from my v1 pool and have it present during 2011 install and/or add it by itself first to the pool before adding the other 2 drives.  Is there any real advantage to possibly doing this? Or since adding pool drives with DrivePool is free of data loss would that just be wasted effort?
