I have one older Dell XPMCE laptop that I am trying to connect and backup with our relatively new WHS2011. I can bring up the dashboard from the Dell client and it always shows itself as offline. I have never been able to put in the backup specs in the Dashboard for the Dell client.
I have removed and reinstalled the WHS2011 connector software a number of times along with renaming and removing the Dell Client from the server, but it still always is reported as "Offline". I have also direct connected the client as well as its normal WiFi connection. I have searched all of the server event logs and cannot find any hit searching for "DELL" which is part of the clients name.
It was backed up without problems by the previous WHSv1 server.
HELP!
