I'm trying to install Windows home server 2003 on a Gateway sx2801 desktop that we are re-purposing. The install went great but it didn't install drivers for some of the components but the big one is the Ethernet controller. I know I need to find XP or WHS drivers for it but not sure where to start looking. I went to Gateway's website and in the drivers they had Lan Driver, version 1.2.79.9 which when unzipped had a folder name "Lan_intel_1.2.79.9.Xpx86_A" so I figured this would be the right one but it didn't do anything when I tried to update the driver.
Any suggestions on where I can go from here? I know this is a newer computer (had Windows 7 on it) that I am trying to put an older version of WHS on and might not be the smartest thing to do but it's what I have and didn't want to purchase a new copy of WHS. Tried using Ubuntu Server and it became a nightmare so going back to Windows.
