I have just done a clean install of Windows 7 MCE on my HTPC and installed the latest version of lights-out on my Homeserver V1 and my HTPC. The problem I have is the Lights-Out client running on the HTPC is stopping my computer from sleeping. If I right click and exit the service it sleeps fine. Seems a bit funny that an app designed to help your server sleep would keep the HTPC awake thus not allowing the server to sleep. Besides this issue it wakes the server fine when it does work, whihc is sometimes after a reboot.
Any ideas? I didn't think it was the problem at first because I ran the powercfg -requests command and it told me nothing was keeping the computer from sleeping, I ran this command on many occasions and noticed one time it showed me the lightsout service was the culprit which made me disable the system tray service and bang 5 mins later computer went to sleep and 10 mins after that server went to sleep.
Thanks
