Hi,
Trying to restore a media center client backup for WHS 2011.
Getting to the point its trying to find my server and comes back with "unable to find server".
Tried the following:
- Manually treid to add ip and server name.
- Used the load driver option to load lan drivers
- checked all lan connections and looks fine.
- Can successfully restore other client pcs
- Can sucessfully backup the media center which is having the restoring issues.
- Rebooted both whs2011 server and client pc.
- No firewall on server to block client access.
Completely confused by why this is happening could it be the lan not able to function outside of windows 7?
Checked bios and cant see anything that is diabled etc.
client motherboard is Asus P5k SE with onboard lan card.
Any ideas.
