Hi!
I am running Lights Out 1.5.3.1819 on WHS V1 box on a 30 day trial.
The server has been up and running for about 5 years - since WHS V1 was released.
It was installed on the 1st Feb, and up until the 8th of Feb, all seemed to be working very well, with the server continuing to automatically back up all clients when it wanted to. After the 8th Feb, no automatic backups of any clients has taken place.
Here is a screenshot of the uptime diagram showing backups took place on the 8th, and nothing after.
I don't remember changing any settings around that time. If a backup is scheduled in Lights Out, it completes OK, as does a backup that is started manually from the home server connector applet.
A scan of all server disks has been carried out using a checkall.cmd batch file I found on the net. No errors were found on either the system or pool disks. I have yet to run a consistency check on the database,
Another possible issue I have noticed is that backups take a lot longer to complete since installing lights out. Time taken to complete a backup has roughly doubled since the 1st Feb. Is this purely a coincidence?
If anyone can assist with getting the automatic backups working again, it would be most appreciated. I really want to keep Lights Out on the machine, as the 'server standby' function works very well. I know I can schedule backups to take place, but the server should work as it has done for the last 5 years and take backups when it wants to.
Thanks!
Anthony
