I have my clients backed-up every night to my server so in case of emergency I can restore my clients easily. This already happened once and within an hour I was up-and-running again.
I also keep my data on my server and have all my server data backed up so that data can also be restored quickly.
I have just one big question.
What is the best routine to defend myself against a complete disaster like my clients and my server going down at the same time, what could happen ( I don't hope so ! ) when my house sets on fire ??
My server data can be backup up in the cloud or on an USB device that is kept outside of my house. That's no problem, But my client backups on my server are gone by then.
I thought about copying my client backups also to an USB device and store that device off site. But in case of a total disaster is it possible to rebuild my server, write my client backups back to the server and than restore my clients ?
Maybe somebody can give me a hint where to find some info about this situation ??
Thanks, Job
