I'm sure everyone knows win7 restriction on remote desktop by now, and therefore so many patches out there to support remote desktop for win7. In my house we run Win 7 Home Premium.
I had downloaded and installed a patch a while ago on all win7 machines in the house so they can remote each other.. Then I noticed yesterday remote desktop stopped working between win7 machines. Also noticed that all machines had installed Service Pack 1. So I just ran the patch again, but it didn't work.... Grrrrr.....
Downloaded this patch and all is fine. http://www.missingremote.com/guide/how-enable-concurrent-sessions-windows-7-rtm
Anyone else have to go through this song-and-dance periodically to keep remote desktop working on win7 machines?
And why did MS take this feature away when it was standard in XP-Pro?
