Recently my provider found it necessary to reset my router, this messed up all IP adresses, port forwarding etc.
I reset everything tried a fixed IP address on my server (thus not DHCP assigned), but that didn't work.
Anyhow I now have the problem that I can not start the dashboard on by PC. The launchpad works, server status works, back-up works and shared folders work, only the dashboard doesn't. RDP to my server and there the dashboard works flawlessly. Also through the remote acces website I can start the dashboard.
I have 2 possible causes:
-my router thinks my server is on IP address: x.x.x.59, but my server says it's IP address is on x.x.x.15. For remote acces I need to forward the ports to x.x.x.15. But my router sees no system on ip addres x.x.x.15. It works, meaning the remote access, VPN etc all run fine. Thus I assume my server knows who he is, but my router is just messed up. Could this hinder me in using the dashboard?
-Ever since the router reset and the ip misery I get the warning that 'Active Directory Certificate Services' are not running. STarting them manually doesn't work. I tried reparing the ADCS database, but get some other error, restoring an older version of the database (I love server back-up) also didn't help in this case.
Does anybody have any clues or suggestion what is causing this problem and more important how I solve it?
Thanks for the help.
