Hi everybody,
I have a problem with whs2011 connector software.
I upgraded my system, asus p8z77-v deluxe motherboard, 32 gig, etcetera.
My old pc was running on windows XP, starting up takes 30 minutes or so, so a new one.
On the network are: server, amd on asrock board, 8 gig, ssd 64 Gb, 9Tb drives total space.
A laptop, windows 7 64 bit and now the pc, windows 7 64 bit home premium.
The server gave my new computer the same name as the old one?
When i try to get the connection done, nothing happens, http://my-server/connect does nothing, for hours when i leave it.
Looking on internet for a solution i found martyn walker with a link to get the software from microsoft.
Installed it, gave in the password, answered the questions and voila, hanging again.
Did i miss something here?
The laptop connection works perfect.
