Due to some issues with my WHS I recently replaced the motherboard and did a restore of the WHS system.
Since doing so I have been unable to connect to the WHS correctly.
I can RDP into the WHS fine. When I try to access the shared folders I receive a Windows Security message to "Enter Network Password" asking me to enter a username and password. I have never seen this before. If I enter the user and pass for one of the users on the WHS I can then access shared folders fine. But this message comes up on every computer attached to the WHS.
I cannot access the console from a PC. Console works fine on WHS when logged onto it directly or via RDP. On every PC the icon is grey and will not connect. I tried unistalling connector on a PC and reinstalling. I cannot reinstall. The process will run, it finds the server and downloads the software, then asks for the server password and then fails telling me it was unable to complete at this time.
When accessing the console direct on WHS it cannot see any of the client PC's even when they are on and active on the network.
Any ideas?
