Hi!
I have a new Windows 8 x64 computer. C-drive SSD 110 GB, D-drive 950 GB, usb-drive 1 TB, 32 GB ram, MB Asus P8z77-v . My old computer Windows 7 was backed up without problem. I had same data on it. I have defined D-drive (part of it) and this usb-drive (part of it) to be backed up.
WHS2011 backup fails when it is backing up d-drive always when it reaches 7%.
Error:
---------------------
Cannot read the information on drive that you want to back up.
To resolve this issue, go to the computer you want to back up, and run chkdsk.exe to detect and fix drive errors.
---------------------
I have checked d-drive, no errors.
What can I do / try to get my data backed up. I have buoght WHS2011 mainly for backup and I want to use it, because I was not cheap investment.
I saw discussion that gpt-volumes cannot be backed up. But I think, I don't have gpt-volumes, but how to check it to be totally sure?
