I have a really odd problem at the moment with three PCs set to wake up (from various states) at 1 AM, 2 AM, and 3 AM respectively. Which works fine as long as the media centre is still keeping the server awake at 1 AM.
If there is no recording of TV from the previous night keeping the WHS 2011 server on, the server doesn't turn itself on for the 1 AM or 2 AM backups. It only does the 3 AM backup. in other words, I've broken the standard backup.
I had the entire system working fine until I decided to put an Intel CT card into the server. That just created chaos - resulting in me uninstalling and reinstalling to start from scratch.
Everything else seems to work.
Suggestions welcome please.
